I feel horrible for not updating, but the fact is...

I haven't produced anything I'm terribly proud of. yeah, beautiful prints, yada yada, but they don't make me happy. they don't feel like anything more than objects.

fact is, I'm terribly unhappy here, and I'll be transferring back to community college this Spring semester. it's not just that I'm unhappy with the photography program here, I'm just unhappy HERE. I really hate the location of my school and, frankly, all the people in it. they're so stuck up it makes me want to puke. there's no artists. the teachers act like they care but they really don't. I feel uninspired and sick all the time. I haven't picked up a camera in weeks because I haven't HAD to. how sad is that? it's depressing is what it is.

I'm looking at art schools and two that are really sticking out to me are NSCAD (Nova Scotia College of Art and Design) and MassArt. MassArt is looking really really wonderful at the moment but I still need to research things like housing and other technical shit. plus, I don't know how much I would enjoy living in Boston, but I would probably like it a lot more now than I did 3 years ago.

I'm trying to remember all the things that worked in Italy (the school, living alone, making my own meals, etc) and find an American equivalent. not too sure how it will work out, but it's a start.

I'm exhausted. excuse me while I go study Italian.
