so I've been in Italy for... wow, almost 5 weeks!
that's kind of crazy. I guess I've been too busy to actually think about how long I've been here. and I'm going to be here for 4 more weeks! okay, more like 5 and a 1/2 because I have a week and a 1/2 of break in between terms.
I wish I could upload some pictures or something to DA, but all I've got is 2 really shitty pictures taken with PhotoBooth. safe to say, this is seriously some of my best work. I've been working consistently on one series for photography. it's amazing being able to work on one thing for such an "extended" period of time. I've really been able to work on my printing and it helps amazing amounts to have such an amazing teacher (Romeo Di Loreto, he owned a lab in Florence and has printed for some really awesome/famous people).
I haven't quite fallen in love with this city as much as some people have, but I have a healthy respect for it. it's certainly vibrant, if a little too much for me at time. after all, I'm a rural girl

but! my family's coming to visit me during my break and I get to see them on Wednesday!! I'm super excited because the longest I've gone without seeing my family is 3 weeks, and that was almost 3 years ago.
right now I'm amusing myself by watching Scream Queens on MTV, dubbed in Italian, and eating Nutella. yum, perfect Saturday evening XD
it also helps that I finally got an internet key so I can get internet in my apartment. bless you Vodafone!
oh yeah, and anyone who wants to send me mail/postcards/whatever can send it to:
